i never thought i'd use the word "shuck" in my entire life. and technically i haven't used it, because my woman and her brother did all the work.
anyway, here are the fruits (veggies?) of building 5 raised beds last year:
we planted ~60 bulbs in each bed, results varied dramatically
and here is an except of our July 4th bbq meal with a taste test on the side. personally i thought Georgian (country, not state) garlic tasted the best.

we'll have to figure out what to do with our soil beds this summer/fall as we await the next garlic season. we also need to give away some of this garlic... it's making our drink fridge smell like garlic.
