the previous owner who built our house added a couple nice trails throughout the woods.

these were compromised from the tornado and while we've worked with multiple logging crews to correct the damage, nature always wins.

since i haven't used the trails in awhile they fell into even more trouble, namely growth from invasive sweet gum trees that grow quite quickly. so today my dad helped me get rid of them.

this photo doesn't do the situation justice but it took a good couple hours of sawing, yanking, and dragging 100s of branches and small trees out of the way for my UTV to fit on the trail again.
